*Mancetter Memorial Hall - What's on
Mancetter Community Group run small mat bowls on Wednesday afternoons 1:00 - 2:00 pm, first session free then £2.50 each week, refreshments are included in the price. Thursday night is Bingo for prizes and money, eyes down 7:00pm everyone welcome. Come along to Mancetter Memorial Hall, Old Farm Road, Mancetter to any of these events and make a new friend.

*First Moonlight Cycle Ride for Atherstone!
Atherstone is set to host its first Moon Light Cycle Ride on Sunday 5 March 18:00 - 19:30 along Long Street.
NWBC want to invite you to get involved with this special event!  The event is open to all whether you have a mountain bike, push chair or mobility scooter all you need to do is "bling up" your ride with fairy lights, glow sticks or anything light and bright.

The more adventurous among you might also want to dress in bright colours and to help we will have a free neon face painter on hand to complete your look. The event is for all ages and abilities and this fun ride is an excellent way to spend time with the family cycling the short 600 metre course up and down the candle lit Long Street. *Nuneaton Festival of Arts - Photography exhibition
Nuneaton Festival of Arts are holding a photography exhibition at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery, Riverseley Park starting Saturday March 4th of the entries to their recent competition. For more details on the range of activities run by the Festival of arts group go to

*Warwickshire Race Equality Partnership (WREP) – Our Families Our Future Event
WREP is delivering a safeguarding event supported by Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council.  The event is open to young people aged between 13 and 25 years and professionals working with young people.  If you are interested in hearing an inspirational speaker on Safeguarding and Radicalisation and would like the opportunity to have your say on issues that face your community, then come along!

This event will take place Tuesday 7 March 2017 6-8pm at Abbey Community Hall, Unit 1, Ground Floor, Marlborough Road, Nuneaton CV11 5PG

*Coproduction Mental Health Forum in Nuneaton
The next Forum meeting will be on Tuesday 14th March 10am - 12noon at Hatters Space Community Centre, Upper Abbey St., Nuneaton CV11 5DN.
Come along, and join us for the usual refreshments and  chat about mental health. This month the agenda includes a talk from P3 and us collecting our ‘top issues’ about mental health services in Warwickshire. Bring along anyone you think might be interested. Click here to see the leaflet

*Warwickshire Older People's Forum Conference - Safeguarding adults from abuse and neglect
Warwickshire Older People’s Forum Invite You to Their Free Annual Conference on Safeguarding Adults from Abuse and Neglect at Shire Hall County Council Chamber, Warwick, CV34 4RA on Friday 17th March. *North Warwickshire Area Forum meetings - West
As well as hearing local updates the North Warwickshire Area Forums meetings give residents the opportunity to raise issues with your local Councillors and with your local Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team in the half hour before the formal meetings starts.

The next Area Forum West meeting is on Thursday 2nd March - Piccadilly Community Centre, Perryman Drive, Off Trinity Road, Piccadilly. For more details of the agenda go to

*NWBC Draft Local Plan - Drop in sessions and further information
The Draft Local Plan is out for consultation until 31st March 2017. The Forward Planning Team will be hosting a series of drop in session where you can ask any questions that you may have. During this week the drop in sessions will be at Water Orton Pavilion, Hartshill Community Centre, Atherstone Memorial Hall, Coleshill Town Hall, Ansley Common Nursery Hill Primary School.

*Fitter Futures for young people
Fitter Futures Warwickshire offers support in several ways for young people aged 11 - 16 to lead healthier lifestyles, to make healthier lifestyle choices and build physical activity into their daily lives. *Entrust Holiday Breaks scheme
You may already have come across Entrust Care Partnership before. Entrust is a social enterprise run by staff who used to work for Integrated Disability Services, and offer a whole host of services to people with disabilities/additional needs.

Entrust oversees several accessible holiday chalets/caravans that anyone with an additional need can hire - you do not have to be a social care user. The facilities tend to be well used during the traditional holidays but much quieter during term time.  We have disability accessible seaside caravans in Skegness and Burnham on Sea and a timber Lodge located at Wicksteed Park. *New Young People’s Substance Misuse Service
Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service and Warwickshire Young People’s Substance Misuse Service have introduced a new way for young people to get advice and support about health related issues via a new nurse messaging service ChatHealth is an award-winning school nurse messaging service for young people aged 11-19 years, available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The text number is 07507 331 525.

This service has been highly acclaimed by the Department of Health which encourages the use of mobile and social media to improve access to healthcare – particularly for young people. ChatHealth has been awarded an Innovation Challenge Prize from NHS England and multiple other awards for innovative use of communication in healthcare and improving patient experiences.

*Volunteering for Father Hudson’s Care in Coleshill
Father Hudson’s Care is currently looking to recruit Volunteer Gardeners to help us with maintenance and development of our gardens in Coleshill and also appreciate the importance of meaningful gardening activities on the wellbeing of people who may experience social isolation.
We are also looking to recruit Volunteer Befrienders who can help and support our residents, individually or in small groups, assisting them in accessing their local community, taking part in activities or hobbies, or simply by spending time chatting with them.

*Atherstone Civic Society - Part time administrator
Atherstone Civic Society is looking for a part time administrator to help with the smooth running of the society. *ConnectWELL coordinator for North Warwickshire
The ConnectWELL Social Prescribing project is looking for a new team member. ConnectWELL enables primary care services to refer patients with social, emotional or practical needs to a range of local, non-clinical services, often provided by the voluntary and community sector (VCS).

The ConnectWELL Coordinator will work with colleagues in Nuneaton and Bedworth to develop the ConnectWELL programme and recruit and manage a team of volunteers. *Chamber of Commerce free Startup business training in Atherstone
The Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce are running free startup workshops aimed at people that are considering starting a new business and those that have set a new business that is less than 12 months old. The next session is in Atherstone on Thursday 9th March at the NWBC offices in South Street starting at 9:30am on Winning & Keeping Customers. Clients can then tap into free coaching if they are eligible for support under the ERDF programme which is also funded through Warwickshire County Council and delivered by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
